धोनी का परिचय 

                               भारतीय क्रिकेट  टीम के सफलतम कप्तानों में से एक महेंद्र सिंह धोनी का जन्म भारत के झारखंड राज्य के एक छोटे से शहर रांची में 7 जुलाई 1981 में हुआ था | इनके पिता का नाम पान सिंह था और माता का नाम देवकी सिंह था  |  इनके एक भाई और एक बहन भी थे भाई का नाम नरेंद्र सिंह धोनी था और बहन का नाम जयंती गुप्ता था | 

फुटबॉलर से क्रिकेटर बनने का सफर 

                                  धोनी ने अपनी प्रारंभिक पढ़ाई D .A .V . जवाहर विद्या मंदिर(रांची ) से की | धोनी को बचपन से ही बैडमिंटन और फुटबॉल खेलने का शौक था अपने उत्कृष्ट  प्रदर्शन के कारन ही उनका चयन जिला व क्लब स्तर में हुआ | फुटबॉल धोनी का पहला प्यार था,  फुटबॉल में वह गोलकीपर थे | एक दिन उनके ही स्कूल के क्रिकेट  टीम का मैच था जिसमे क्रिकेट टीम का विकेटकीपर किसी कारण बस मैच के लिए  उपलब्ध नहीं था तो उनके कोच ने माहीं को क्रिकेट टीम के विकेटकीपर के रूप में मैच खेलने के लिए भेज दिया वहां धोनी ने अपने विकेटकीपिंग से सबको प्रभावित किया | इसके बाद धोनी अपना फोकस क्रिकेट पर देने लगे उन्होंने अपनी विकेटकीपिंग व बल्लेबाजी में काफी सुधार किया | शीघ्र ही धोनी का चयन विनो माकड़ ट्रॉफी अंडर 16 में चयन हुआ|  धोनी 12 वी तक अपनी पढ़ाई की इसके बाद उन्होंने अपनी पढ़ाई छोड़ दी | 

शुरूआती करियर 

                               धोनी ने 1998 में बिहार अंडर 19 में खेला और 1999 -2000 में बिहार की तरफ से रणजी टीम में पदार्पण  किया | घरेलू क्रिकेट में अच्छे प्रदर्शन के बाद उनका चयन इंडिया A टीम में हुआ जो केन्या में त्रिकोणीय सीरीज खेलने जा रही थी जिसमे तीसरी टीम पाकिस्तान थी उस सीरीज में  बल्ला खूब बोला | उन्होंने पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ एक के बाद एक शतक जड़े | उनके इस प्रदर्शन के बाद उनका चयन राष्ट्रीय टीम में हुआ| 

राष्ट्रीय टीम में प्रदर्शन 

•                                23 दिसम्बर 2004 को बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ पहला मैच खेला जिसमे वह शून्य पर रन आउट हो गए थे  धोनी के शुरुआती मैच अच्छे नहीं गए लेकिन अपने पाँचवे मैच में पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ 148 रन की पारी खेलकर वर्ल्ड क्रिकेट में अपनी दस्तक दे दी थी  इस पारी के बाद धोनी ने पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा | धोनी अपने लम्बे -लम्बे बालो की तरह ही लंबे लंबे छक्के लगाते थे | धोनी क्रिकेट में अपना एक अलग ही स्टाइल लेके आये अपने दमदार परफॉर्मेंस के कारण  ही  धोनी सबसे कम मैच खेलकर odi के नंबर one बल्लेबाज बन गए थे| 
•                            3 साल बाद 2007 में धोनी को टी -ट्वेंटी का कैप्टन बनाया गया | धोनी के पास एक युवा टीम थी खुद धोनी के पास कप्तानी का ज्यादा अनुभव नहीं था लेकिन धोनी ने अपनी कप्तानी के दम पर टीम इंडिया को 2007 टी -ट्वेंटी विश्व कप का चैंपियन बनाया | इस प्रदर्शन के बाद धीरे- धीरे  धोनी को ONE DAY और टेस्ट टीम की भी कप्तानी दे दी गयी  | धोनी के लिए उस समय एक कहावत प्रचलित हो गया था की वो जिस चीज को छू देते थे वो सोना बन जाता था| 
•                              धोनी ने भारत को 28 साल बाद 2011 में ODI का वर्ल्ड कप जिताया  वर्ल्ड कप फाइनल में धोनी के द्वारा लगाया वो लास्ट छक्का कौन भूल सकता है? 
•                            फिर 2013 में चैंपियन ट्रॉफी जीतकर धोनी दुनिया के इकलौते कप्तान बन गए जिसने ICC की तीनो ट्रॉफी को जीता हो |
•                            2014 में उन्होंने टेस्ट से सन्यास ले लिया ये धोनी के प्रसंशको  के लिए बहुत ही भावुक पल था और आज 15 अगस्त 2020 को ODI और T -TWENTY से भी सन्यास ले लिया। ये खबर क्रिकेट प्रशंसको के लिये बहुत ही दुखद है। धोनी एक ऐसे खिलाडी है  जिसने निःस्वार्थ भाव से टीम की सेवा की, वे खुद से पहले टीम को महत्व देते थे टीम के साथी खिलाड़ियों से बेस्ट कैसे निकलवाना है ये उनको बाखूबी पता था  किसी भी परिस्थिति में वे  हमेशा शांत रहते थे | 
•                             2017 में उन्होंने ODI और टी -ट्वेंटी की कप्तानी छोड़ दी थी लेकिन क्रिकेट फैंस के लिए वे हमेशा एक कप्तान ही रहेंगे |  धोनी जब भी मैदान पर उतरते एक लीडर के तौर पर ही खेलते है विराट कोहली को जब भी किसी सलाह की जरुरत होती है वो धोनी के पास ही जाते है | धोनी जैसा खिलाडी न पहले कोई था और भविष्य में भी ऐसा खिलाडी भारत को मिलना मुश्किल है |  

धोनी की शादी 

                           धोनी ने ४ जुलाई २०१० को साक्षी सिंह  रावत से शादी कर ली थी उनकी एक बेटी भी है उसका नाम जीवा है| 

आईपीएल करियर 

                          इंडिया का अपना त्यौहार आईपीएल २००८ से शुरू हुआ था तब से धोनी आईपीएल का हिस्सा रहे है वह CSK की तरफ  से खेलते है और इस टीम के कप्तान भी है एक प्लेयर और कप्तान के तौर पर उनका आईपीएल करियर बहुत ही शानदार रहा है 2010 , 2011 में उन्होंने CSK को चैंपियन बनाया|  बीच मेंCSK के  २ साल बैन के वजह से वह RPS की तरफ से भी खेले जिसमे उनका प्रदर्शन ज्यादा बढ़िया नहीं था 2 साल बैन के बाद जब CSK टीम वापस आयी तो फिर २०१८ में धोनी ने CSK को चैंपियन बनाया |

INTRODUCTION OF DHONI

              Mahendra Singh Dhoni, one of the most successful captains of the Indian cricket team, was born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi, a small town in the state of Jharkhand, India. His father's name was Pan Singh and mother's name was Devki Singh. He had a brother and a sister, his brother's name was Narendra Singh Dhoni and the sister's name was Jayanthi Gupta.

 JOURNEY FROM FOOTBALLER TO BECOME A   CRICKETER

            Dhoni made his initial studies from D.A .V.  Jawahar Vidya Mandir  (Ranchi). Dhoni was fond of playing badminton and football since childhood, due to his outstanding performance, he was selected at the district and club level. Football was Dhoni's first love, he was the goalkeeper in football. One day there was a match of his own school's cricket team, in which the wicketkeeper of the cricket team was not available for the match for some reason, then his coach sent him to play the match as the wicketkeeper of the cricket team, there Dhoni with his wicket keeping Impressed everyone. After this, Dhoni started focusing his attention on cricket, he greatly improved his wicket keeping and batting. Soon Dhoni was selected in the Vinoo Makar Trophy Under 16. Dhoni did his studies till 12th, after that he gave up his studies.

EARLY CAREER

          Dhoni played in Bihar U-19 in 1998 and made his Ranji team debut for Bihar in 1999-2000. After a good performance in domestic cricket, he was selected in the India A team, which was going to play a tri-series in Kenya, in which the third team was Pakistan,he performed so well in that series. He scored back to back hundreds against Pakistan. After this performance, he was selected in the national team.

PERFORMANCE IN NATIONAL TEAM 

•          On 23 December 2007, he played the debut match against Bangladesh, in which he was run out on zero, Dhoni's initial matches did not go well but he knocked in world cricket by playing 148 runs inning  against Pakistan in his fifth match. After that Dhoni did not look back. Dhoni used to hit long sixes like his long hair. Dhoni brought his own different style in cricket, due to his strong performance, Dhoni became the number one batsman of ODIs by playing the lowest match.
•          After 3 years in 2007, Dhoni was made the captain of T-20. Dhoni had a young team, Dhoni himself did not have much experience of captaincy, but Dhoni, on the basis of his captaincy, made Team India the champion of 2007 T-20 World Cup. After this performance, Dhoni was gradually given the captaincy of the One DAY and Test team. At that time, a saying had become popular for Dhoni that anything he used to touch would become gold.
•         Dhoni made India win ODI World Cup in 2011 after 28 years. Who can forget that last six hit by Dhoni in the World Cup final?
•         Then Dhoni became the only captain in the world by winning the Champions Trophy in 2013, having won all three ICC Trophies.
•         In 2014, he retired from the Test, it was a very emotional moment for Dhoni's fans. Today he also retired from ODI and T -TWENTY on 15 August 2020. This news is very sad for cricket fans . Dhoni is a player who selflessly served the team, he used to value the team before himself, he knows how to get the best out of teammates. He was always calm under any circumstances.
•          In 2017, he gave up the captaincy of ODI and T-Twenty but for cricket fans he will always be a captain. Whenever Dhoni plays on the field as a leader, Virat Kohli goes to Dhoni whenever he needs any advice. There was no player like Dhoni before and it is difficult to get such player in future also.

DHONI'S WEDDING

        Dhoni married  with Sakshi Singh Rawat on 7 July 2010, he also has a daughter named Jeeva.

IPL CARRIER 

        India's own festival started from IPL 2007. Since then Dhoni has been a part of the IPL, he plays for CSK and is also the captain of this team. His IPL career as a player and captain has been a great.2010 and 2011 he made CSK the champion. Due to the 2-year ban of CSK , he also played on behalf of RPS, in which his performance was not very good, after the 2-year ban, when the CSK team came back, Dhoni made CSK the champion in 2018.
